superschan Posted January 18, 2011 Share Posted January 18, 2011 Hi all, I'm following dgobe's guide to installing Snow Leopard on an Asus P6T Deluxe V2 mb. I got to step 6 in 'Operating System Install' without too much trouble, but on the restart after the install, I followed the guide and booted from the boot-123 disc and got stuck on the Chameleon screen, can't select anything. The text which is suppose to say Mac OS X under the disc icon is all distorted. I then tried to boot from an [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] disc and didn't even manage to get to the Chameleon screen. I have an ATI HD5870 graphics card which gave me some trouble during the install, is this the reason? My specs are: Asus P6T Deluxe V2 Intel Core i7 920 OCZ 4gb DDR3 1600 ATI HD5870 I'm a completely new to this, any help would be much appreciated!!!
