popcat Posted January 18, 2011 Share Posted January 18, 2011 dell xps m1530 installed iatkos s3 v2 had everything working installed another m1530 user's dsdt that caused it to only boot in safe mode installed a a different users dsdt in safe mode & removed appleHDR.kext (i believe that was the name) this brought me to my problem typically i would boot with -f and everything would load fine now everything boots, and i get to my desktop 2 folders (2 i had up before the problems started) and skype pop up i can move my mouse but cannot click anything (same for external mouse) i cannot type with my keyboard i do not believe it is frozen because the skype login button keeps flashing if i try to boot into safe mode (-x) i get to the apple login screen again i cannot click or type anything is my only option to do a complete reinstall? i booted into the install disk and repaired the disk, and repaired permissions but it did not change anything Desperate for help, ive already scrounged the Internet and cant find anyone with similar problem Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
