dilnalomo Posted August 12, 2006 Share Posted August 12, 2006 hi guys, i have some serious issue with my broadcom netxtreme card. i downloaded AppleBCM5751Ethernet.kext from a thread in this forum, copied it to /System/Library/Extensions/ and did the following in terminal: sudo -s chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/ chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/AppleBCM5751Ethernet.kext the card works and connects to the net, but every time i try to shutdown/restart/logoout or disconnect the connection, OSX just hangs. i had to do a hard shutdown everytime...how can i fix this? much thanks for any help!
