milomak
I have an Asus P6T Deluxe V2, i7 920 and an nVidia GTX295 card. So I will be using the boot-123 from this thread. I currently have a Macbook Pro (currently only running Debian) and it came with Snow Leopard (v10.6 Disc version 1.0). Does it matter that SL came with the MBP? Secondly, I have 3 SATA HDDs on this computer. Should I unplug the 2 on which I won't be installing SL to? Thirdly, one of the hard drives (the one I want to install SL to) is the one where i have Win7 and a number of Linux distros. I am currently using Grub2 to boot into Windows and the Linux distros. Will installing Hackintosh overwrite my grub which is on the MBR? If it does overwrite grub, if I reinstall grub to the MBR, can I just add an entry to Grub boot the SL install? Thank you. edit - i did try to see whether the install process would run using the MBP SL and the install process came stuck at this point - http://img16.imageshack.us/f/img20110115174233.jpg/ I still had all my drives connected if that makes a difference Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/243587-installing-hackintosh-sl-mbp-version-on-a-system-that-already-has-linux-and-win7/ Share on other sites
