stormo
Hey guys, unfortunately I'm only to post this here and not in the specific section. In the last two weeks i was trying to build up my own 10.6.6 Hackintosh. My System uses this Hardware: Asus P6X58D-E Mainboard EVGA GTX 480 - GPU i7 950 - CPU WD 500GB SATA3 - HDD in AHCI Mode 4 GB DDR3 for setup - usually 8GB Somehow my Retail-Setup worked out. I found several kexts at kexts.com and a more or less working dsdt. Sound was not available but with a lot of sweat the Realtek 889 Chip (without the "a") worked more or less with the Realtek8XXHDA.kext and the HDAEnabler.kext. Furthermore i installed the original Nvidia Drivers with Geforce and Quadro Support. Is it normal that i could not stream any sound via HDMI to my TV? It works fine on Windows. Finally i {censored}ed up my system with some random kext and couldn't boot it even with my EFI Bootdisk. So i got an idea: is it possible to integrate this Hardware into the DSDT-file and get an native OS X Support for them? Is there any native GTX 480 Support? Would it be possible to get further updates in future without updating the dsdt? Thanks for all answers Used DSDT: http://www.kexts.com/view/751-p6x58d-e.html Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/243491-asus-p6x58d-e-dsdt-and-hdmi-audio/ Share on other sites
