mark1958
I have been following this guide (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=208724) for installing OS10.6.6 without a problem, until I get to step 9. Click the Applications folder in the Dock on the lower-right, it will pop open and then you will click the Utilities folder, then click Terminal. At the Terminal screen type in: CODE sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions Hit Enter and put in your password when prompted. At which time I am unable to enter my password, in fact the only key that works is the enter key that results in a incorrect password. I have tried 3 different keyboards with the same result. Am I doing something wrong ?? or what, the keyboard works in all other applications 1.ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 LGA 1366 Intel X58 2.Intel Core i7-920 Bloomfield 2.66GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 3.Corsair TR3X6G1600C8D Dominator 6 GB 3 x 2 GB PC3-12800 1600MHz 240-Pin DDR3 4.EVGA 768-P2-N831-AR GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB 384-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/243428-asus-p6t-deluxe-v2-lga-1366-intel-x58-help/ Share on other sites
HackintoshIT
Use Kext Utility... Way much easier and safer than using terminal.
