hilloki Posted August 12, 2006 Share Posted August 12, 2006 Hello I am trying to modify my install dvd to include the modified AppleVIAATA.kext so that I can install to a SATA drive. I have tried to extract the Extensions.mkext, mod the AppleVIAATA.kext to include my device ids and then recreate the .mkext but to no avail. I have also tried to make an Extensions folder and add the kexts in there, that also does not work. If anyone could point me in the right direction or help me out I would greatly appreciate it.
