mpof7 Posted January 13, 2011 Share Posted January 13, 2011 Hi guys, I have the folowing ethernet chip on my Acer 5739G, in which i have installed Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.3 Retail and upgraded to 10.6.5: - Network Adapter: Atheros AR8131 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller Could someone please explain me why, by using the AtherosL1cEthernet.kext i canot have my ethernet controler detected??? because i've searched a lot for a couple of days now and i can't find my self an answer. mpof7 Posted January 14, 2011 Author Share Posted January 14, 2011 If i install the "AtherosL1cEthernet.kext" and run in verbose mode i get the following errors: - Couldn't map io regs - Couldn't probe adapter I am wondering why is that..
