vikking
I installed Mac OS X 10.4 (with in the installer an update to 10.4.5, SSE2, SSE3, AMD and intel patches) and first time boot after install worked, a little bit slow, but it worked. Then I rebooted again, and while he was showing the gray apple with the spin-thingie, there was no HDD activity... Then a few seconds later I got the denied icon, but it was not on the place where it is supposed to be (replacing the apple), but it was on top of the apple, and smaller than normal... The only thing I tried was repairing permissions, and that didn't help... Can someone help me?
Guest bikedude880
First off, only select the patches that are appropriate to your system. Never install all of them, ever. Second, the afformentioned information will more than likely fix the problem. Third, it requires a reinstall. What processor are you using? vikking
I only installed the intel and SSE2 patch, running on a Pentium 4, but it worked...
