Dell Mini 9 Installation

Hello

 

I reinstalling 10.6.0 on my dell mini 9 (the first was done by someone else.) I have intalled 10.6.0 on my laptop, so I know a little how things work, now the problem is when I am booting no matter what i boot from (empty hard driver or flash drive with empire for atom, or my flash drive with the install on it) it always gives me the black screen with "no operating system found existing rox" or something. and before when the hard drive had the broken version of osx on it, i could boot to empire efi but when i would select to boot from install, and it would boot from hard drive anyway.

 

 

It seems no matter the option it only wants to boot from hard drive.

 

does anyone have any tips or ways, I have looked on other guides but it does not help me.
