resetu Posted January 11, 2011 Share Posted January 11, 2011 Hi, D630 users, I am glad to announce a fresh driver which will work at both 32/64 bit mode of SL, let your D630 Ethernet fly. for install, it is quite simple, like any other driver, you boot into 64 bit mode, delete your 32 bit driver which is named AppleBCM5751Ethernet.kext. replace this unzipped attached driver at /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ then repair the right by kext utility or command line is up to you. Maybe you need a restart, in my case it even do not need to restart, you will get mac address automatic and all other function that belongs to a normal ethernet adapter. have fun.
