chaopig Posted August 11, 2006 Share Posted August 11, 2006 I'm a new comer and a coming-sophomore of the department of CS&T, so I don't konw much about the macintosh. I install a MacOS10.4.6(ISO) on my ThinkPad T60 B41, it's almost perfect except that it doesn't sound. I just search the forum and read some articles about this, but they maybe a bit difficult and don't say clearly. My sound card is SoundMax Integrated Digital HD Audio, and my chipest is Intel Calistoga i945GM/PM. Is there a informer driver? If not, how can I solve this? Hopefully someone else will have a T60 who can confirm whether it works or not. But I heard somebody said that this is because our chips updates too fast, the Max Os 10.4.6 can only recognize ICH-6, but T60 series uses ICH-7.
