seventoes Posted January 10, 2011 Share Posted January 10, 2011 I updated from 10.6.4 to 10.6.6 via software update, and had some problems booting. I ended up having to replace my IOUSBFamily.kext and IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext with the 10.6.4 versions. All was good, USB mouse and keyboard were working fine. Then I tried to open up Skype and realized that my USB headset isn't showing up in the audio sources list! Would the old IOUSB kexts be responsible for this?
