Lurch1363
Ok I am sorry for starting a new post, but i have searched for hours and cannot find a solution to my problem. I have i deneb v1.1.5 osx86 v10.5.7 I made a 100gb partition on my harddrive and did not format it with windows 7, set that partition as active and restarted pc, went into bios and changed harddrive to achi under southbridge controls. Then make my dvd drive my primary boot and boot into the osx install. After getting into verbose mode it stops after telling me it cannot access my raid server and giving me the same error code three times followed by a bland screen with a mouse cursor in the upper left hand corner of the screen that quickly because the spinning rainbow beach ball. Does anyone have any idea what i am doing wrong? the error is localhost diskarbitrationd(44): unable to mount /dev/disk0s1 (status code 0x00000047) System specs are Processor-AMD Phenom 2 x4 2.8gh 8gigs of ddr3 in dual channel ATI HD 5850 1gig 500gig WD caviar black I built this pc myself so if you need anymore hardware info let me know. BTW eventually going to dualboot mac osx and windows 7. I know how to do that through windows and i have an ##### cd made (used that to boot into windows) any help is extremely appreciated. *edit* I have tried to install with ##### and i only get the white screen with the apple logo...nothing beneath it I also have the nawcom mod cd and if i boot with it i get a bunch of text essentially saying the kernel crashed. I am downloading hazard's snow leopard iso and will try that tommorow. I can try a vanilla snow leopard retail disc if need be, but i assume it won't like my processor.
