NickEdwards
Hi all, I am having issues when installing the copy of Snow_Leopard_10.6.1-10.6.2_Intel_AMD_made_by_Hazard, I tried standard install with no custom settings, I tried with both boot loaders, and no updates, tried with boot loaders and updates and legacy cpu drivers and ioata fix files, can't seem to get the right combination. I either get the ioata kernel issue, or it will boot into SL and prompt me to restart. Tried GUID format with journaled and MBR journaled, still no luck I tried the arch=i386 on install and after install on boot, still no luck. Just hoping you may be able to help my system is a LG laptop LW70-4JGA 1.73GHz Processor Pentium M 1.73(Dothan) ATI Mobility Radeon X600 IDE HDD CMedia Sound 5.12.01 Marvell Lan Intel Pro/BG wireless card Intel 915PM chipset 1gb ddr ram 1.5506.0807.01 Intel GMA Driver Ver If you can advise what customized settings or any advice I would really appreciate it. EDIT: Finally installed without kernel issues, however when SL boots I see the grey screen with the spinning wheel but it doesn't seem to go past there. I have just tried to boot using -v -x parameters and its still doing its thing after 10-20 min, the USBF count is up to 1200+ and still going up. Any ideas anyone? Thank you very much.
