I'm having difficulty getting the video on an ASUS N53J with the NVidia 425M video chip/card. It defaults to 1024x768 and recognized as an Intel video card. I've successfully installed iATKOS s3 v2 and have tried applying the Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.5. combo update following tonymac's instructions. However, when the combo update finishes, it requires me to press the power button to reboot and doesn't allow me to apply #####. When I try rebooting, I get numerous errors and it fails to boot from the HD with -x and directly from the ##### DVD.

I have rolled back to a clean install of iATKOS s3 v3 so at least I have a working osx86. If anyone knows how to fix my issue, I'd greatly appreciate your help. Thanks.
