chancekang
Guys, I am trying to upgrade my desktop so that it runs hackintosh as primary os. I am a bit concern about graphics drivers/performance. After a few days spent in the forum, I still found myself a bit confused. Can someone give me some suggestions? Here is my hardware specs: Core2 quad 6600 asus p5q (ICH10R) 8gig RAM 1TB x 2 HD ATI radeon 3450 (this part I plan to upgrade) For graphics card, I have been looking at 240gt/460gt/5770/6850. From my research, it seems only 240gt and 5770 is well supported by hackingtosh. I see people pointing out that CL/CE is working, but I am not 100% sure if I understand what it means. Does it indicate a full hardware acceleration? And also, I see people reporting parts that works fine with hackintosh, but have not yet found a overview of how the entire system works. So my question would be: "Is it possible to build a desktop that runs osx flawlessly just like mac pro does?" Thanks guys!
