nicktrela
Hello, I've got a bit of a problem that I can't seem to solve. I installed Snow Leapord using iAtkos7 on my Compaq CQ56. OSX works fine (lacking drivers) but ever since then I cannot boot up Windows 7 anymore. Every time I choose to boot the windows partition it first says Windows Failed to Start and gives me an option to start windows normally. When I do that it goes to a blue screen, then restarts. If I click the other option, Launch Startup Repair, then it tells me to insert a Windows 7 disk. Ok, did that, but it doesn't recognize any partitions on the bloody hard drive. I have a feeling I just need to set the windows partition as the active one but I am a little lost on doing that. Can I do this through fdisk? I have tried but it says I don't have permission. Help is greatly appreciated!!
Markrtoon
I always use parted magic from download.com, it gives you a full GUI and everything. Take the iso, from here. And either burn it to a CD, or get unetbootin, and just put it on a USB.
