messd002
Hi All, Brand new to all this, sorry if it's in the wrong place. Obviously looking to build a motherboard, will go with I3 550 Processor, and am looking to go with this motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2H I have searched the internet far and wide and have found inconclusive results. Could anyone shed some light on whether I can use this for my hackintosh build, otherwise I am just going to gamble a yes on it as it seems similar to the mostly successful p55 series. I am no expert, so I don't really want to use the board if I am going to have to do some complicated work-arounds, I want a motherboard that I can set up Snow Leopard on following an online simple tutorial. Many thanks for all responses, Daniel Messias

messd002
There you go http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&...q=&gs_rfai= Graphics? Thanks for the response. Doesn't look too hopeful on that motherboard, I might go for a p55. I am going to use the ASUS GeForce 8400GS, as I have heard this seems to work ok and I don't need an amazing graphics card for what I will use my computer for If anyone has any recomendations for a motherboard in the £80-£90/$120-$130 range, that will support an I3 processor, I would be VERY grateful. Cheers, Daniel
coolshaps
I am currently running OSX on my GA-H55M-UD2H with a Sparkle 9400 GT 1GB Low Profile (fanless) GPU. My system runs really well, I am happy with it. However, I have a HUGE problem.. the text on my screen is extremelly fuzzy, the fonts dont render well, be it anti-aliasing or whatever, it is VERY annoying. I don't know if this is a problem with NV Enabler, my 19" Dell 1907FP monitor, or my graphics card.
