Oreosxe
Hello I am currently running 1.5.8 on my hp mini 110-1020nr and its running perfectly..almost. I am trying to install diablo 2 and I do not want to use open gl but the other video option is greyed out because it says my system cannot not do 800x600 with 256 colors. So i checked my displays in the settings and somewhere after installing everything(i did quartz and quartz extreme) I lost my 800x600 setting. I only have 640x480 and 1024x768. Is there a way for me to get my 800x600 back along with 256 colors? Or anyone know how to get diablo 2 to run with open gl? Thank you much. Oreosxe
I am not trying to bump my own post. I had a secondary question. If not fix this does anyone have an hp mini hackintosh without quartz extreme installed? If so what are you screen resolutions. I am just trying to track when I lost the ability to 800x600. Any help would be greatly appreciated Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/241653-video-resolution-on-hp-mini-hackintosh-with-ideneb/#findComment-1614705 Share on other sites
Oreosxe
This is the last time i will post on my own thread. Just a heads up to anyone trying to figure this out. I did a new fresh install and i lost my 800x600 option when i updated to 1.5.8 and installed the hp mini kexts. I got it working with screenxres but this is a fix i am entirely happy with. I rather just get my natural 800x600 back Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/241653-video-resolution-on-hp-mini-hackintosh-with-ideneb/#findComment-1615018 Share on other sites
