avibann
Hi to all, It may sound little bit foolish but I am novice in this part. Please help me how to select kernels while installing iPC in AMD My make is AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Gigabyte 770T-USB3 ATI Radeon HD4670 1GB DDR3 Zion 4GB DDR3 Western Digital 500GB SATA Whenever I am trying to boot with iPC DVD, the installation getting stuck after the boot selection screen. At last somehow the Language Selection screen showed up, but surprisingly my keyboards and mouse stopped responding. I learned that this problem might be for wrong kernel selection. But how can I select right kernel? P.S. I am doing a clean install. This is my brand new machine purchased yesterday only. So I didn't use any OS before in this machine. Alessandro17
Why does it have to be an iPC? Regardless of my (negative) opinion about it, it is an old distribution (over 2 years old). P.S. I am doing a clean install. This is my brand new machine purchased yesterday only. So I didn't use any OS before in this machine.[/i] If you had asked, we would have advised you against an AMD + ATI computer, at least if you are serious about this project.
