sam2k11 Posted January 2, 2011 Share Posted January 2, 2011 Hi everybody, i start my first hackintosh project. the case, a powermac g4 quicksilver case, is already ordered. cant wait to get it, i love the design. anyway. now i look for the hardware. today my choice is: cpu i3-530 or i5-661 fan boxed mainboard msi H57M-ED65 ram no preference, i think about 8gig min dvd any psu from sharkoon with 80 mm rear fan hdd old maxtor, 1tb is coming soon (any suggestion for a new one?) i want the system to work as a hobby machine for testing things out and media center. the system should run all the time. my only problem is, should i get a i3 or an i5? thnx for answers Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/241493-new-hackintosh-with-low-power-consumption/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
