Ok, not sure if this tidbit is useful to many people but I've found it handy in the past, especially when starting out.

If sleepenabler.kext causes you a kernel panic, the bigest problem newbies have is getting rid of the kext without access to the OS.

There are many forum posts dedicated to the "proper" way to do this using your install USB, but this MAY save you the hassle.

1)At the boot loader (just before selecting the OSX drive) use the boot options:

pmVersion=0 -v

2)With any luck, this will disable sleep enabler and avoid that KP!

3)Go to System/Library/Extensions

4)Delete sleepenabler.kext

5)Reboot

6)This time use boot options:

-v -f

7)Your done!

No guarantees on this one, but if it work for you then it may save you quite some hassle if you have the sleepenabler KP.
