Hi Every one

I bought this board on boxing day. (GA-X58A-UD7 Ver 2.0)

I Can tell you now the latest Bios update for this board (FC) messed up my USB Port. Booting from a USB became painfully Slow.

I don't know if this was a board issue or a OSX issue but I downgraded back to (FB) and all seems ok.

The best page I have found on this board is this one showtopic=196771http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=196771

I all so found a ISO USB but that is for a Ver 1.0 board.

As anyone used a version 2 board?

Dose anyone if there is a chip set difference between the version 1 and 2?

The only difference I can find is the lan chip was upgraded from a RTL8111-D to a E

The other thing is they went from 24 phase power to 16.

Yet my box and manual both say 24 phase power.

My Board clearly says ver 2.0

Anyway

I am having trouble getting my sound and network working.

everything else seems to work except USB3.

This is my system

M/B.............. Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7

CPU.............. i7 950

Ram............. 12 GB DDR3 1600MHz

Graphic GTX 285

Hard............. WD Caviar Black 1TB

CD/DVD Multi drive

OS X 10.6.5

I am using Chameleon R5 for my boot loader. Booting from a 8GB USB Drive.

If anyone can help or have any ideas please help.

Thank for reading
