panosmac93
Hello, I am new in the forum and I would like some help. I haven't used Mac before and I want to work on them and I believe I won't change OS if all gets fine. I have a Gigabyte P31-DL3R mobo with Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66ghz and a Gigabyte Nvidia 9800 GT(1gb ram). I spent a lot of time searching something that could help me, but it's a little bit difficult to understand all this things in Wiki. So I am writing this topic to call for assistant and please someone to help me out. Could somebody tell me which version of Mac OSx86 I could install on my desktop pc. And how to do this? Thank you very much.
Nomad_Grabitel
Best choice for your is a Snow Leopard, but also you can use Leopard too. For first time try to install a distro, for example you can use iAtkos S3. After for better result try to install Mac OS X from Retail disk. Nomad_Grabitel
Try to install Retail with a another BootCD, for example download EasyEFI. And don't forget to setup BIOS, As it is necessary for Mac OS.

Nomad_Grabitel
I don't have links, in which is shown how to setup BIOS. But I know, how to do it. 1. Load defaults. Enable SATA AHCI Mode, HPET Support > Enabled, Hpet Mode > 64 bit, Suspend Type > S3.
