pdiddles03
I have ipc installed on my nc6400 and it works good usually with one core activated, although there are a few times it does this with a single core also. I have an intel core duo and when I boot up with two cores, at the most i can run mac for 2 minutes then it freezes up and eventually tells me to reboot. Sometimes upon bootup it immediatly does this. The screen greys out and just tells me to restart my computer by holding down my power. Is there a fix for this? Nomad_Grabitel
Try to delete alias from your DSDT. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/240975-ipc-1056-with-hp-nc6400/#findComment-1609545 Share on other sites

pdiddles03
Use the DSDT editor and patcher. thing is, it won't let me use that in 10.5.6 cuz i can't install java 1.6 on it for some reason. so i downloaded evo dsdtse and opened the dsdt editor. but the part it told me to find to fix the dsdt for cpu isn't there. there is no alias part for the cpu. I'm confused Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/240975-ipc-1056-with-hp-nc6400/#findComment-1610181 Share on other sites
