hitokiri0kenshin Posted August 9, 2006 Share Posted August 9, 2006 Hey guys and gals, i'm new to this forum, and new to Mac, so go easy on me. Plain and simple, my sound isnt working. Here is what i have done so far: Kextloaded each of the files within the AppleAC97Audio.kext including the kext itself, and all the files load successfully. I have cleaned the kextcache after each load. I used a guide to add my device ID to the Info.plist, but that shouldnt be the problem, considering my device ID is already in there. This is my Audio Device: Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corporation 82801BA/BAM AC'97 Audio 8086:2445 is the device ID i got for lspci in linux. The ISO i am using is MacOSX_10.4.6DVDPATCHED_Myz.iso I think that is all the info you guys need. Any Ideas?
