ars_s
Hi all. I installed on my machine Snow Leopard 10.6.3. My configuration is: Core Q9550, ASUS P5Q-E, Radeon HD5770. I installed 10.6.3 using this guide http://coderazzi.net/osx/p5q-e/snowleopard/index.htm. The installation was successfull. Then i tried to upgrade 10.6.5 via software update (i also tried to upgrade by downloading 10.6.5 combo update dmg file) and got problems. After rebooting SnowLeopard shows animated loading icon but desktop not appears (i wait about 10 minutes). I tried to load SnowLeopard in verbose mode and noticed that there is no kernel panic, no errors, just SL hangs after all initialization :censored2:. I've attached screenshot of loading process. Please help!!! I need to upgrade to 10.6.5 to install xCode and iPhone SDK Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/240903-upgrading-from-sl-1063-to-1065-on-asus-p5q-e/ Share on other sites
Giorgio_multi
I think you must reinstall the drivers for graphic card. Try to boot with -x flag. If don't works delete ATI5000Controller.kext and ATIRadeonX3000.kext and reinstal drivers. eliasmgalian
