jmcgeejr
As stated. Used tonyx86 install method about 1 year ago everything works great but just the other day went to use bluetooth and realized it's not listed. Under the hardware it shows for USB the cab-200 and the memory cards function. I am on 10.6.5 with a custom machine. The BT works fine in windows 7. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Mine works under 10.6.6 (and probably 10.6.5) on a Dell xps 435mt with a Logitech mx 5500 keyboard and mouse. Without the Logitech dongle installed, there was nothing under the "BlueTooth" in System Profiler but you see 3 Logitech BT Mini-Receiver entries in the USB section. To make the bluetooth keyboard usable from BIOS (I have to use the F12 key to boot os x), I installed the logitech bluetooth dongle and connected the keyboard and mouse under Windows 7 using the logitech LLC. Now with the Logitech dongle installed, I see both the logictech dongle and the internal bluetooth. And (surprise surpries), the internal bluetooth adapter shows up in the Bluetooth section in the System Profile (with the correct device / vendor ids) and the Bluetooth section of System Preferences works.
