Mad2k6
Hi, i have been trying to install Snow Leopard on my machine (specs at the bottom of the post). When i finish the install, it says it is all good, but when i reboot i keep getting the "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the power..." message. I had to use ##### to get into the installer with the iAtkos S3 v2 release. Also i tried using -v -x cpus=1 maxmem=2048 at the boot loader. My searches didn't give me much results as i would only see messages like "it Works" and videos of computers running it, but never found a tutorial for this particular mobo. If someone can light my lantern on what i am dooing wrong that would be much appreciated /* Mad2k6 */ Computer Specs: Mobo: Intel DP55WB (Intel gb ethernet) CPU: Core i5 750 Ram: 4gb total (2x 2gb) Gfx card: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT dual screen (DVI) m-Audio delta1010LT Audio card 2x 250 gb Sata HDD Bios info: Sata drives are in AHCI mode Power option is on S3 instead of S1 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/240810-intel-dp55wb-installation-issue-with-iatkos-s3-v2/ Share on other sites

Cybex
Oh you are using a distribution, I thought it was a retail installation. Sorry, but I have no idea how to do it on iAtkos. The link I mentioned in my previous post is an USB image that allows you to boot a Retail DVD.
