well my system is now stable, and running but it seems slower then it should be, i took a 15 second HD video and imported it into finalcut and just tried to save it (no editing just export to quicktime) and it took about 5 mins to do that, now since i have never done anything like that on a mac i cant tell if thats bad or not so with the specs in the pics below should it take that long?

May I say, Very nice system haha. I run 6GB of Ram, i7, 1GB ATI Graphics card, and I know that with programs such as cyberlink, and After effects a 15 second video can take up to 3 or 4 minutes depending on what im telling it to make it as (mp4, wmv, etc). Another thing you gotta take into account is its a hackintosh, Mac is built to run on Mac not PC, so your going to see some slow downs im sure. A good gauge to see if your system is running optimal is chess, and a DVD.
