miscbeep
Hi, I have an external HDD ( Western Digital "Elements" ), 500GB. I have around 140GB on it ( back up ), which I uploaded to it, in order to have it transfered later ( now ) to my OS X installation. Now I started transfering my folders, and it estimates " 37 Hours " left, which is ridiculous. The transfer rate is about ~3MB/s, while on Windows I was transfering the same folder with the rate of ~20MB/s. Does someone know how to fix this issue ? What do you think, is the problem ? Thanks in advance ! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/240385-speed-problem-with-external-hdd-usb-20/ Share on other sites
miscbeep
Well, all my USB ports seem to be recognized as USB 1.1, which is awful. Has anyone had this problem ? Maybe there's a kext that I can replace or something to patch in the system to make them work as actual USB 2.0 ports, because they're.
