HistoryMac
Hi all, My goal here is to install Mac OS X 10.6 (or 10.5, I guess) alongside my existing Windows 7 and Ubuntu 10.10 installations on my HP/Compaq CQ42-138TU laptop. All I really want to be able to do with the installation is (in order of priority, highest to lowest): Run Xcode and related iOS dev tools Create Pages and Keynote documents with iWork '09 Access the net over WiFi Maybe run iMovie and iPhoto '11 too I'm aware that this laptop uses the Intel GMA 4500M chipset, which might be an issue, but I'd like to know exactly what the case is with that. Will I be able to run XCode and/or iWork? And will it run with QE and/or function at its native resolution? Also, what would be the best installation method to avoid harming my existing Win7 and Linux installations? Somewhat more detailed specs can be found here: https://www.mln.com.au/product/?itemID=896 Thanks in advance, HistoryMac. HistoryMac
Looking like there's not much hope for a response here, but I'll bump the thread anyway, just in case someone feels like lending me a hand Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/240366-compaq-cq42-138tu-pre-installation/#findComment-1606227 Share on other sites
