patocontreras Posted December 20, 2010 Share Posted December 20, 2010 Hi everyone, I'm on leo 10.5.8, and i'm having a problem with gma x3100 kexts. Before installing them i can get my laptop to reboot and shutdown without any problem. But when i do install them i get the famous black screen hang in both situations and i have to hold down the power button. And if i delete them, i get kernel panic. Is there any solution to this? I've tried different kexts versions and still get the same thing. Also i tried the poweroff fix and openhalt restart but no solution. Is there a DSDT mod or sth i can use? Please Help! This is the last thing i need to solve so i can get my notebook fully functional for OS X.
