Ellis
Right, I'll try and keep this short and to the point. I currently have Windows 7 installed on one of my 500GB drives, and I use my other 500GB drive to store games and media. My question is, if I create a partition on the storage drive, which is formatted as NTFS and has been converted to a dynamic disk in Disk Management, can I install Snow Leopard on this without affecting any of the data which is currently on the drive? Is it possible to format one partition using one file system, and another using a different one? I heard that Nawcom's mod CD allows installation of OS X alongside Windows on an MBR partition. Ellis
Ok, I found out that this isn't possible because dynamic disks cannot be used as boot drives. I'm now moving stuff about so I can make a partition on my Windows boot drive (basic disk) to install OS X on.
