bidum00 Posted December 17, 2010 Share Posted December 17, 2010 Trying to get OSX 10.6.3 Installed PC Specs: MB-P7N Sli, 8gig Ram, Sata 320G HDD Boot Disk - nForceSLBoot132DVD.iso Error: "Unable to find driver for this platform:\"ACPI\" .\n"@?SourceCache/xnu/xnu-1456.125/iokit/Kernel/IOPlatformExpert.cpp:1389 It seems I need to change a file on/in the osx install DVD. I have tried many different bios settings and three differnet OSX Iso's. I'm totally lost at this point. Please point me in the right direction Tried to put OSX Install DVD on USB 8gig Thumb, but it seems I need a working mac to accomplish this. Maybe not, I don't know. An EFI boot disk actually seen that there was a usb thumb drive inserted. The boot132 boot disk did not. Pretty much all the info I have.
