Hello all.

Right now, I've fully installed Snow Leopard 10.6.3.

Everything needed works, except my external display.

I have a Dell SP2309w monitor.

In System Preferences>Display, my monitor is not showing up in the panel,

so is it a display problem, or something else?

And:

My system is a Dell Inspiron 1545

Help would be greatly appreciated!

Congratulations, you've effectively limited yourself to getting help only from other owners of the Dell Inspiron 1545.

There are many other people here who could help you but they would have to first find out what kind of video card is in a Dell Inspiron 1545. Most people will not google something like that for you.

The first thing you should do is type Inspiron 1545 in the search box above and browse the results. I'm sure you'll find lots of useful information.

Run this and post a screenshot similar to the one in the first post:

That program isn't working for me. What's a good mac program to show your hardware?
