changs
Yes, I saw this. Hardware Name Manufacturer Notes Fully working without patchingAthlon 64 3200+ Venice(Socket 939) AMD Works great Yes Asus A8N-SLI Premium Using BIOS 1005 Installed using pre-patched Jas 10.4.6 DVD Onboard FireWire works great. nForce4 LAN works with the forcedeth driver nForce4 SATA controller works erratically with joblo10's patch (part of install DVD) Cannot get onboard audio to work. Have tried everything suggested here and here to no avail nForce4 SLI I think sound and sata doesn't correctly work that's why I try to install it on IDE ATA disk. There are people who installed Mac OS X on PC like mine. madzie
Can you see the IDE disk on the left hand side of the disk utility? If you can, erase the disk, repartition the hard drive, reboot and try the disk utility again. If you can't see the disk at all, then I'm afraid you're out of luck, unless you get yourself a PCI to IDE controller. CodemasterMM
Perhaps you can try via VMWare? What I did for my installation was use VMWare and place my entire hard drive as the drive for it to use, then I used the Disk Utility to reformat one of my Partitions. changs
Ok I solved my problem myself. Dist Utility doesn't see any of my disk because IDE ATA disk was primary slave. When I changed it to primary master disk utility saw my disk. Anyway thank you for reading my post and trying to help me.
