avsuinc Posted December 15, 2010 Share Posted December 15, 2010 Hello, I am new, but have successfully installed Snow Leopard on a 14in Dell N4010 (i350m, ati5470 video card, broadcom wireless). There are a few drivers missing, but for the most part, I love this machine, it starts up from a disc but without any need for boot flags; however, when I try to update it -- no matter which update I choose (10.6.2 thru 10.6.5) -- the thing kernel panics just before finishing and the only thing I can do is to reinstall the whole thing from my time machine backup.
