Hi,

 

before my hardware upgrade from GeForce 8800GTS to 470GTX MacOS X 10.6.5 ran fine on my Computer, but now the online message I get if i boot MacOS X is something like "Reboot is required." with the hint to shutdown the machine and reboot.

 

I read a lot of posts regarding Fermi Support in MacOS X, but how to upgrade MacOS X without need to reinstall it? Does anybody could give me a hint? I own a PC with Asus Rampage II, i7-920, 12 GB RAM and - since one week - a GeForce 470GTX graphics card.
