Install Hazard using HDD instead of Boot dvd?

Hey i was just wondering if its possible to install the hazard distro using a 2 partition HDD instead of booting from a burned DVD or Thumbdrive. I've been trying the retail 2 hdd method but am having no luck and my dvd drive is really hating on the media i bought for it, so i thought i'd see if this was possible before i go and buy more disks
