So in my opinion it is not worth it. Its always worth it if you have the drive to learn and conquer. I am hackintoshing this laptop right now. Everything working (including 3d accel) except wifi and Ethernet n card reader. I have full 3d on HDMI and VGA that shows perfectly however on my main lcd it displays multple images like multiple monitors n the same monitor .
