OK, i've managed to install SL on the laptop, and updated to 10.6.5

1. Can I use tonyMac's ##### to install boot loader.

2. Can't use laptop keyboard or built in mouse pad on the laptop, i have connected a usb mouse and keyboard? - Any ideas on how to fix this

Thanks

OK update, got "still waiting for root" after update to 10.6.5, totally stuck on what to do now, so going to give it a break for a while.
