Liability
Hi guys, My mobos built-in ethernet is the Realtek RTL 8111 DL. I've tried the RealterR1000SL.kext and also the Lnx2Mac RealtekRTL81xx(LINK) but both behave the same. The weird thing is that I can stream a 1080p youtube vid 3x faster than I can watch it, the same with BBC iPlayer HD yet browsing is painfully slow. Every so often a web page will load super fast but 99% of the time it is incredibly slow. Up to a minute or so to load a page, if it loads at all. I don't seem to get "Server not responding" errors, or any errors in fact. Speedtest.net says I'm getting the same 19.8Mb/s out of my 20Mb/s connection that I get in Windows 7. Safari and Firefox, both the same. Is there something I'm missing here? Some settings I need to play with? Thanks for any advice you can give. Snow Leopard 10.6.5 AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Ed.
