I've got the AD1989B audio codec, sound works with voodoohda but only the stereo output (green) and mic in. i need to get the optical out working. does anyone has an idea? i've tried installing an AppleHDA kext patched for AD2000B and AD1988B (these i found online) but no luck. also to mention i didn't install a patched bios and i don't have a pathced dsdt i'm running on efi bios Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/239290-help-with-ad1989b-audio-codec/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
