Manbadger
Hi, I am trying to install snow leopard on my PC and keep getting stuck at the same point. I have been trying using ##### but I never even get to the first install page it just freezes the apple boot screen. No error message appears. Have tried -x mode and that does the same thing. I guess I must have a setting wrong in the bios but I can't figure out which one. I have tried all combinations of ACPI/APIC suppot and have set the SATA config to AHCI, but it still freezes at the same point. My hardware is: ASUS P5P43 TD PRO INTEL CORE 2 2.1 OCed to 3.2Ghz ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series 4 GB DDR3 Thanks in advance!

Try Boot132. Also try the -v switch at the beginning to see where you are stopping.
Manbadger
Could not get ##### to work on my Asus p6. Try Boot132. Also try the -v switch at the beginning to see where you are stopping. Tried Boot132 but still with no luck on -v it's hanging on the text 'PCIRootUID=0'. I have tried using the the flag to force other roots but it still hangs in the same place. Any suggestions? I was going to try booting from usb next to see if that makes any difference. Manbadger
OK, So I have finally got SL installed. However it will only boot in safe mode at the moment. The Panic that I'm getting when I try to boot it with out the -x flag is : "Failed to open PCI Device" I guess it must be an issue with my graphics card (ATI 4890) so I have tried the netkas exotic pkg as well as the EVOenabler and also tried enstalling all kexts using #####. None of them have managed to defeat it! PLEASE HELP!!!! I have attached a photo of the panics.
