Hello,

I've been trying to create a custom BCD for snow leopard retail and I know it's possible, I just have it got it quite figured out. . .

as of now, every boot CD that I've tried I always get this error:

Unable to find driver for this platform: "ACPI"

I've tried mammoths, newcoms, muhamed's and a bunch of other ones - they all give me the same error

on a more positive note, I was able to create a custom boot 132 to boot and install my retail Leopard 10.5.8 DVD with no troubles what so ever. I am then able to install Snow Leopard the .mpkg way onto a seperate drive, but would much prefer a simple boot disc to install. . .

I am using a Sony external USB DVD drive to boot with.

I am using all SATA drives (IDE is disabled).

I have a great, stable running Snow Leopard 10.6.4 running right now.

-maybe I'll try whats his name's BootCD Maker and put in the line:

rd(0,0)/Extra/legacy_kernel
