8gb ddr3

Installed with #####+10.6.3 install disk then updated.

AtherosL1cEthernet.kext from october 10th(off the google code page)

Type: Ethernet Controller

Bus: PCI

Vendor ID: 0x1969

Device ID: 0x1063

Subsystem Vendor ID: 0x1043

Subsystem ID: 0x83fe

Revision ID: 0x00c0

Link Width: x1

BSD name: en0

Kext name: AtherosL1cEthernet.kext

Location: /System/Library/Extensions/AtherosL1cEthernet.kext

Version: 1.0.2b2

tried the earlier version and debug version with log fix.

My problem is as follows when i run a torrent with decent amounts of peers for about 4-5 min

console starts getting spammed with "[AtherosL1cEthernet] Error: atl1c hardware error (status = 0x4000)" over and over and I lose connectivity.

Any suggestions other than buy a new ethernet card? It works fine unless i run torrents, or it will crash like this on occasions... but only during bandwidth intensive operations I think.

Thanks for any help in advance. :censored2:

ps if an admin could move this someplace better it would be appreciated :D
