superenduser1 Posted December 3, 2010 Share Posted December 3, 2010 Hi folks, Still wet behind the ears when it comes to Mac so please have Mercy! I am trying to install SL v10.6.3 and I can’t seem to even get passed the install boot phase. I read a lot of post and tried most if not all the preboot ISO out there and followed all the BIOS instruction settings as mentioned here but my screen just reboots or has a panic attack. My system seems to pass the HCL list but It Looks like I need to make a custom bootloader anyway for my specific machine. So here is the caveat most if not all the “how to instructions” seems to require a Mac to do the bootloader customization. I don’t have a Mac. This is why I am her so I can have a Mac in the first place. Is there any windows software out there that allows me to do same but on PC?
