not sure if this is the right question to ask here..but if it isn't please forgive me.

i'm new (recently switched to a mac) i've recently bought a macbook pro, and i'm loving it. now i just need something portable, small easy to carry around with..maybe a macbook air xD

i've heard about the education discount or developer's discount @ apple store but i'm not eligible for both, but i really wanna get a deal on it =/ so i'm thinking..

1) Seeing how apple computers are very stable..what do you guys think about buying refurbished computers from the apple store?

2) I've thought about going to one of those new local authorized reseller here in richmond bc ..compu2000.com?? they're offering me a $200 Compu2000 gift card if i am one of their first 10 customers who walks in and buy a mac..apparently it's a new store and they're having a grand opening sale. Heard there is a $500 gift card for prize draw  if i win! i'm getting an ipad..

Anyways!! what do should i do? should i just settle for a refurb. or should i go line up @ the local new authorized reseller? any suggestions? smile.gif

thank you all..
